Great Birthday

Brian and Morgan brought home pink flowers in a purple vase (per Morgan's instructions) for my birthday, along with some very sweet cards. My co-workers treated me to lunch at Celebration Restaurant and that evening we had dinner at Twisted Root Burger with Lisa and Jeff.

Wood Floors

Brian and my brother Jeff spent last weekend putting in the wood floors for Morgan's big girl room. They did an awesome job! The room is really coming together.

All done!

La Pequena Senorita

My sister Lu sent Morgan a cute little Mexican dress that she found in San Antonio. Morgan wanted to wear it when Auntie Peggy came to visit. So cute!

Thank you for the dress, Auntie Lu!

Lots of love from Auntie Peggy

Big Girl Haircut

Morgan got her first big girl haircut recently and had about 3-5 inches cut off. I asked my hair stylist to do it because I knew she'd do a good job. Morgan was such a good girl and did everything Emily told her to do. The only bad thing is, she looks so much older now! Where'd my baby girl go?

July 4th

Morgan's daycare had a bike parade the day before the 4th of July, so we helped Morgan decorate her bike for the festivities. She couldn't wait to show her friends her decorations.

The evening of the 4th, Brian found the perfect spot for us to watch both the Plano and the Richardson fireworks shows. Brian told our neighbors where we were going and they ended up joining us for the evening.

Summer Splash Days

Every Friday during the summer, Morgan's daycare has Splash Day. She looks forward to it every week.

Keeping Plano Beautiful, One Shopping Cart at a Time

Someone felt compelled to leave a Kroger shopping cart in our driveway. Kroger is located about a mile and a half from our house - at least they got their exercise.

Girl's Getaway 2013

Julie, Jacq, Jennie, and I had our MUCH NEEDED annual girl's getaway at the end of June. We made our annual 'trip' to McKinney again to stay at Julie's parent's house, otherwise known as Bunny Hollow B&B. Julie's mom out did herself again this year by providing each of us with a homemade toiletry travel bag made out of a washcloth. So creative!

We started with brunch at Mimi's Café, then shopping at Hobby Lobby for crafting later that evening. After shopping, we were pampered with manicures and pedicures, then more shopping. We headed back to Bunny Hollow for snacks and dinner and we also watched one of Jim Gaffigan's comedy shows.

That evening, we make necklaces as our craft for the evening. Talk about stressful! All of us, other than Jennie, struggled to figure out what we were going to do. I finally caved and asked for Jennie's help (the Martha Stewart of our group). When all was said and done, we ended up with some pretty cool pieces of jewelry.

Sunday consisted of relaxing by the pool, reading our trash magazines, and not having a care in the world for just a few more hours.

Goodie Bags

It wouldn't be a Bunny Hollow B&B without Bunny Bottom coffee mugs!

We're still smiling - this must have been taken earlier in the evening. :)

Work Baby Shower

My co-workers threw a baby shower for Brian and I at Breadwinners (one of my favorite restaurants). It was a nice get together and we got some much needed things our little one.
