Big Girl Bath

Morgan made the switch from the sink tub to the big girl tub this past month. She LOVES her bath even more now. She listens to her Bible Songs CD, plays with her toys and splashes as much as she wants now (without getting Mommy wet in the process!)

Halloween Fun!

Halloween was a good time this year and I think Morgan had a blast. Her 'day outfit' consisted of the adorable shirt that Grandma Muriel got for her and her skinny jeans. I took some pictures of Morgan in her cute outfit with the pumpkin that she decorated at daycare. That evening we put her in her ladybug costume and headed over to the Janik's Halloween party where we ate some awesome BBQ and then went trick-or-treating. This was Morgan's first time to trick-or-treat and she loved it! Hopefully I will have some video to upload soon. In the meantime, pictures are below...

Halloween at Work

My department at work decided that we would go with the 80's theme this year for Halloween since we all already had our outfits from my birthday party in July. I decided to wear Brian's 80's outfit instead of the one that I wore for my birthday. It was much more comfortable, except for the part where my co-workers convinced me to put White-Out on my nose to substitute for sunscreen. Afterward, it took 20 minutes to scrub it all off!

Grandma Muriel Visits!

Brian's mom, Muriel, came in from Canada last week for a visit. Brian took off work on Thursday and they had some mother/son time before picking up Morgan from daycare and spending the rest of the afternoon playing with her. Brian and I took Friday off and we all went shopping at Stonebriar and had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. She left for Rice, Texas on Saturday to spend the rest of her vacation with Brian's brother. On that Sunday, Rice was hit by a tornado that made national news! The tornado missed them (barely), but it did do a number on the small town. They got quite a few pictures, from what I understand! It was a wonderful visit and I really enjoyed getting to know Muriel better. We are hoping to make a visit to see her next year in Montreal!
