Memorial Day weekend, we went to a pool party, where Morgan sported her new 2-piece bathing suit and floated around the pool with Aunt Lisa and Aunt Peggy. On Memorial Day, Grammy & Pap came to visit and brought Morgan a Micky Mouse bean bag chair. She loved it!
Kisses for Aunt Peggy
Buddy decided he needed to get in the pool too!

I love this picture! It shows how excited she was about the bean bag.
We went to Rockwall to check out the harbor development. It's still pretty new and there weren't as many stores as I thought there would be, but plenty of restaurants. Morgan had a good time watching the children play in the water fountain, but she didn't want any part of it herself. She was also facinated by the mama duck and her babies.
I had a very low key Mother's Day - which is exactly what I wanted. Brian, Morgan and the Cats, each gave me a card (so sweet) and some chocolate covered strawberries - yum! We went to the Cottonwood Art Festival for a little while and then went out for dinner. It was a nice, relaxing day - perfect!
We took a quick weekend trip, at the end of April, to see my sister Lu. Along the way, we stopped in Austin to pick up my sister Tina. Morgan did suprisingly well for a 6 hour road trip, but we realized that anything longer than that would be too much. We spent Friday afternoon on the Riverwalk and then Saturday was spent at Lu's house where she invited all of the relatives to come over and hang out and meet Morgan. Some of the pictures have a blurry spot (thanks to Tina! Ha!) Brian took some video of the trip, which is after the pictures.
