I am now 2 days overdue and am crossing my fingers that when I go in for my doctor appointment tomorrow morning that she will have good news for me. I've been told that if I don't have her by Monday, September 28th, I will be induced. Below is a picture of me on my official due date (September 21st).

The Waiting Game
Monday is my official due date and we're hoping that I will be in that small 5% group of women who deliver on their actual due date (or before)! We are both so excited and can't wait to meet our sweet baby girl. The blog will be updated when she finally decides to make her appearance (hopefully within the next week) - so keep checking back and keep us in your prayers.

2nd Anniversary
Brian and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary early by treating ourselves to brunch at Dean Fearing's restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton last Saturday. We continued the celebration tonight by going to Twisted Root Burger for dinner, which is a restaurant that 2 of my culinary graduates started a few years ago.
Today, while at work, Brian surprised me with gifts of cotton. The 2nd anniversary is know as the 'cotton anniversary', so he gave me cotton roses in a wooden vase and a bear with a cotton rose. It was so thoughtful and sweet! Although, I didn't follow the cotton theme, I think he was touched by the heartfelt card that I gave him and was very excited to receive the Call of Duty game for the Wii.

Blu Bom
Last weekend Brian and I started to tackle the garage little by little and I found one of my dad's license plates that my siblings and I had gotten for his old blue Nova that he refused to replace with a new car. We called the Nova the "Blu Bom", even though I think it was more rust colored than blue by the time my dad passed away. He had to buy oil by the case to keep it running, but he loved that car and sported 5 different university bumper stickers in the back window for all of the colleges that his 5 kids attended. Brian had the idea of putting the license plate up on the wall of the garage along with his own license plates so now the Blu Bom plate has a home again.
