Easter Video

Easter 2011

Easter was wonderful this year. We colored eggs with Morgan on Saturday, which she enjoyed so much, that she got very upset when it was all over. Sunday morning we had breakfast and went to church and then Morgan received her Easter basket when we got home. I hid eggs out in the front yard and she had a blast loading them up in her basket. After her nap, we went to Grammy & Pap's house and hunted for even more Easter eggs. Easter was so much fun this year and I know it will only get better.

Hmmm, I'm not too sure about this Mommy

OK, I'll try

This is fun!

We each had our own egg: Mom, Morgan, & Dad

Hibachi Birthday

Laura had a big birthday party on Good Friday and we planned on going, but I got sick and cancelled. It was a bummer, but we still got to celebrate her birthday with her the next night at Hibachi House. The waitstaff completely embarrassed her after the meal by singing Happy Birthday to her. She got a free dessert out of it though, which she shared with Morgan. They are BFFs afterall.

Watching the fish, while we waited for everyone to arrive

Hmmm, interesting looking fish

Happy Birthday to You...

Short Visit

My sister Tina was in town, house sitting for a friend, so we invited everyone to come over and hang out for dinner. We all got to see her new hair and makeup from a makeover that she had about a month ago. She looks awesome!

The new and improved Tina!

Girls "Stay-Away"

Last year, some friends and I went to Austin on a business/get-away trip. Since then, we've been talking about doing it again. Because of the economy and the price of gas, we decided that we'd save money by staying local (a "Stay-Away). We took over Julie's parent's house for a night in McKinney and had a blast! We met at the house on Saturday morning and went to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast. We then shopped until it was time for some pampering at Serenity Nails. After the pampering session, we went back to the house to relax and chow down on some really unhealthy food (what else are you supposed to eat when you're on vacation?) That evening we went to Painting with a Twist in Frisco and created some masterpieces (or a dartboard, in my case). We ended the evening at Fireside Pies and then headed back to the house for some much needed rest! Thank you Julie, Jacq and Jennie for a great time! Let's do it again soon!

Julie's parents decided to call their home Bunny Hollow B&B and even went to the extent of preparing the bedrooms like a true B&B (and stocked the fridge full of drinks).

Every bedroom had this towel set

Mimi's Cafe - FREE MUFFINS!

Tea anyone?

Aren't pedicures supposed to be relaxing? Not for Julie - she's extremely ticklish.

Jennie was necklace molested everywhere we went! She was wearing one of her own handmade necklaces out of bottle caps - so cute!

Cute little piggies

Ready to paint!

Don't forget the wine!

Uh oh, the wine has kicked in!

We've got a looong way to go.

My completed masterpiece (I use this term loosely!)

Our lovely masterpieces - you can see that the wine has completely kicked in.

Wild West Pony Show

Ron & Mary were showing the Mustang at the Wild West Pony Show in Mesquite last weekend, so Brian and I took Morgan to see them and to also check out the beautiful Mustangs. Ron's Mustang won 1st Place in it's category!
