Kristin Chenoweth

I love Kristin Chenoweth, so when Kit suggested that we get tickets to see her in person, I jumped at the chance. She is cute as a button and SO TALENTED! Unfortunately, she didn't do much singing - only a note or two, but it was still awesome. The only negative was the interviewer, a total bump-on-a-log (BOAL), who asked lame questions and had zero sense of humor. We heard that she was going to be at Barnes & Noble the next night doing a book signing, so Kit went and talked with her and had her picture taken with her (I'm so jealous!)

Gracie's Birthday

Gracie's birthday was back in early December, but I'm just now getting around to posting the pictures. I wasn't feeling well, so Brian and Morgan made the trek to Euless by themselves. Morgan had a good time playing with Gracie's Barbies (YAY!)and also letting go of the balloons in a vaulted ceiling living room (ha!)

Morgan's Musical Debut

Aunt Robin and Uncle Ed gave Morgan a musical instrument set for Christmas. Below is a video of her playing her various instruments.

Surprise

We never know what we'll find in Morgan's things when we bring her home from daycare. Today, she came home with a seashell and dirt in her hoodie.

Bronchitis

Morgan has Bronchitis and is taking an antibiotic, a steroid, and doing breathing treatments. Thankfully she doesn't mind the breathing treatments and will watch TV with the mask on her face for 10 minutes.

What a trooper

I Love Nerds

I couldn't pass up this shirt when I saw it at the store. It's so cute AND her Daddy is a self-proclaimed Nerd.

Hello Kitty

Auntie Lu got Morgan some Hello Kitty pajamas for Christmas, do you think she likes them?

Happy New Year!

Safe and cozy at home, we brought in the new year watching the festivities on TV and drinking the champagne that Peggy and Ron had given us back in August.

Cheers to a Happy & Healthy 2012!

Family Christmas Part II

Christmas Eve night and Christmas day was spent with my family. This was our second year of hosting Christmas for my family and we had such a great time watching Morgan bond with her aunts and uncle Jeff (or uncle Jess, as Morgan calls him). Unfortunately, my sister Tina couldn't make it this year, but she promised that she won't miss it again. We were happy to have my cousins George and Cherie and my co-worker David join us for Christmas dinner. We had a wonderful Christmas holiday and feel so blessed to have such great family and friends.

Cheers!

Merry Christmas!

Family Christmas Part I

Christmas Eve morning, we had a wonderful breakfast with Brian's family and then opened gifts. Morgan got so many cute things, including a tea cart and tea set. She also received a set of VERY LOUD musical instruments from the Newton's. She loves playing the drum the most (lucky us). She will click her sticks together and say "one, two, three...one, two" and start banging away.

Pastries and coffee! Yum!

Christmas Hat

Morgan loved wearing the Dallas Cowboys Santa hat. It's too bad that they had such a horrible season this year!

Christmas Decorating

Morgan wanted to help Mommy decorate for Christmas this year. She loved putting the decorations on the tree (and taking them off).
